Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

Funny People Don't Always Look Like They're Being Funny

Monday, March 2, 2009

Hi! Below are some photos of readers reading.

The February topic was How I Learned That Everyone is Against Me and the readers brilliantly shared their innermost thoughts on things like drug abuse, inertia, break ups, city living, stalking, spitting, slapping, unwanted pregnancy, and Minor Threat lyrics.

Wait. Does that sound depressing? It was super fun. Lots of woo-ing and hollering in the audience. Except for during a few deeper moments when we all just took it in quietly and related everything back to our own lives. And then we drank some more. It was awesome.
