Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

Dear World Wide Online Universe...

Here are some PRESS THINGS I wanted to make a page about. Thank you, L Magazine, The Ticker, Flavorpill, and, of course, Time Out New York! There's more, but I don't want to brag because it's rude. I think if you click on the photos below, and then zoom in, you should be able to embiggen the shit out of them.

Here's a nice write-up in Electric Literature about How I Learned It's Not Me, It's You (Or Maybe It's Me)!

And...

L Magazine with HIL alum and The Rejection Show's Jon Friedman!

Today the Baruch College newspaper, tomorrow another college newspaper.

How I Learned on La Flavorpill

Thank you, Time Out, for liking me, for really liking me. Or, I guess, my show.

Also these:

"The Getting of Wisdom is a more or less eternal narrative structure, hence this monthly reading series, at which writers and comedians hold forth on aspects of their respective bildungen." - L Magazine

"The stories were captivating, the audience responsive, the air positively tingling.  I hadn’t had this much fun in – or at – a story event in ages. " - Tracy Rowland, The Liar Show

"An evening of pure genius from start to finish." - Sibyl Kempson, The Secret Death of Puppets

"I just felt really inspired this fall after performing on your show and then doing my one-woman-show and being so open and pathetically honest. It feels good!" - Brooke Van Poppelen, Rock Bottom Stories

"It's laugh therapy!" - Nice woman standing outside at one of the readings, waiting to get in, and her high heels were killing her

"Your show is good." - Mr. Dave Hill, davehillonline.com
