Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

NEWS! That Has To Do With The State's Kevin Allison! And Other Stuff!

Friday, November 4th, 2011

Hello, Friends--

I hope you've been having a beautiful first week of November. This month is pretty freaking special: Two shows--one in Brooklyn--plus I'm NaNoWriMo'ing and also Susan Miller says my hair looks great and I shouldn't change it until mid-December. So I think everything is going to be okay.

I want to remind y'all that advance tickets are available right here through Ticketweb for the one-off Union Hall edition of HIL on November 14th with Mike Albo, Sara Schaefer, Tom Shillue, Andy Christie, and John Sellers. Get at it! It's going to be a fabulous night.

I also want to inform you that a very special person has been added to an already special lineup for HIL's end-of-season show on November 30th. That person is MR. KEVIN ALLISON of The State! He is also, of course, the man behind the ever-popular Risk! live series and podcast. Super excited. The theme for November 30th is "How I Learned The Rules of Attraction: Stories about Internet Dating." Pretty sure it's going to be a doozy.

Can't wait to see you!
xoxo Blaise
