Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

HOLD THE PHONE...

Hey Pals,

Happy Ending lounge, in all its weirdly fun fire-hazardry, has been home to How I Learned since the show's inception in 2009, but on September 14th Happy Ending will be shuttered. Closed. That's it. Forever.

I'm not good with change, you guys. The
PBR can in that photo is me, left behind in the hallway of Happy Ending like a $3 hooker with a heart of gold.

DON'T PANIC.

The next How I Learned show, "How I Learned The Language Of Love," scheduled for September 25th, will be in a different place--and maybe on a different date. All TBA.

So sit tight, look pretty, and don't do a goddamn thing until you hear from me.

I'll also be working with Brad Lawrence to find a new home for our joint story slam venture, Best In Show.

My eternal gratitude to Happy Ending (with extra special thanks to Gina, Adrian, Josh, Roberto, Eli and Bob), and to ALL OF YOU who've come out to see the shows. I'll see you soon but if you want to just stop by my house later, you totally can.

Stay tuned.

Love,
Blaise
