Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

This multi-talented lady has joined the lineup for July 30th's "How I Learned to Live in New York" at Union Hall. Super excited, obviously. She is like, a big deal on Saturday Night Live because Lorne Michaels wised up and cast her as the fifth black female regular on SNL and the first since Maya Rudolph left the show six years ago, but you already knew that. Also, Sasheer's writing has appeared on the Hairpin, Jezebel, Vulture, the New York Times, and many other places.

She'll be slinging a New York story along with authors Choire Sicha, Maris Kreizman, and Bob Powers, and storyteller James Bewley (aka Dale Seever) for How I Learned. This show is probably gonna be off the hook, I'd say. I mean, you see the lineup, right? Save the MF'ing date! More details shortly...
