The How I Learned Series features writers, storytellers, comedians, and other raconteurs holding forth on a different theme. It all happens every last Wednesday of the month, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you will have the best night of your life on those nights, repeatedly.

* * * * * *Hey! There's also this! It's all so exciting!

1. Toss your name in the hat for a chance to tell a 5-minute "how I learned..." story.

2. Get friendly, constructive feedback from a rotating panel of seasoned coaches who may or may not be liquored up at any given time during the show. No scores.
3. At night's end, someone will be crowned "Best in Show" and receive fabulous prizes. (Probably just verbal accolades and a bag of chocolates from Duane Reade. Maybe Rite-Aid.)
