Since 2009, How I Learned has featured some of the best live storytelling, comedy, and readings in New York City. It all happens a couple of times a year, and sometimes more than that, which basically means you'll have the best night of you life on those nights, repeatedly.

CHRISTIAN FINNEGAN is a comedian who is perhaps best known as one of the original panelists on VH1's Best Week Ever and for his appearance onChapelle's Show. Christian has appeared regularly on Comedy Central Presents and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, as well as ConanThe Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and The Today Show. His latest comedy special, The Fun Part, is available now on Netflix.

DOOGIE HORNER is the author of 100 Ghosts and Everything Explained Through Flowcharts. He has contributed to Wired, McSweeney's, the Believer, the London Times, and other publications. He achieved national attention when a video of him taming a hostile crowd on America's Got Talentbecame a viral sensation. He has also designed numerous book covers including Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

AMBER DREA is a storyteller, fiction writer, editor, and essayist whose work has been published by McSweeney's, The Chicago Reader, The 2nd Hand, The Northville Review, and elsewhere. She's been featured on many storytelling shows and podcasts, and is the host of the storytelling seriesAnother Round.
MEG FERRILL is a comedian and storyteller who was selected to perform atThe Chicago Women's Festival, Ladies of Laughter, New Guns of Comedy, UCB's Stand-Up Smackdown, Mortified, and Amateur Night at The Apollo. Meg is a two-time Moth StorySLAM champion and was cast in Morgan Spurlock's year long online documentary series, Failure Club, featuring seven people pursuing lifelong dreams and conquering the fear of failure.

2. Get friendly, constructive feedback from a rotating panel of seasoned coaches who may or may not be liquored up at any given time during the show. No scores.
3. At night's end, someone will be crowned "Best in Show" and receive fabulous prizes. (Probably just verbal accolades and a bag of chocolates from Duane Reade. Maybe Rite-Aid.)
