As a native English speaker who still doesn't understand a lot of grammar, I loved this. The weaving of the stories, the Serbian words being so beautiful, the way you wander and wonder. And Gertrude and George. Thank you.

I love your comment so much, Char! I love the Gertrude and George, which surprisingly, I didn't realize shared the same first letter. Much love and many adventures of wandering and wondering!

A world in tea cup. I love the bits about G Stein. I think a word meant for her just what she chose it to mean, neither more nor less, a bow to Humpty Dumpty. I've often wondered what a rose meant to her. I think a version of this may be true of Tamara MC, as well. Maybe an object, rather than a word.

Oh, I LOVE your comment Sallie. I do find myself akin to G Stein. And surprsingly to Humpty Dumpty, who I've always felt so much like, as if I was always teetering on a wall about to be humpty-dumptied off. Thank you for reading. A word is a word is a word is a rose is a tea cup, an object of a word, neither more, nor less, nor truer than the rest. Standing the test of time, only the best for us who live in G Stein's cauldron.
