WELCOME TO DAY 9, AND WELOME NEW SUBSCRIBERS. I love that you’re here. A few things to share with you outside of 28 x 20: a brief history of what HOW I LEARNED even is; bullshit perfectionism (my own); and three recommendations from 2025.

This is a good time to remind you that if you want to improve your writing, you must read. Read, read, read, read. Read anything you can get your hands on. Grab everything. No need to stick to one genre or format. A couple of days ago, we discussed why we write. Why we read is a worthwhile exercise too.

On to today’s prompt. This one is in two parts. So you’ll set a timer for 10 and 10. Or do one part for 20. Or do 20 and 20. It’s really whatever. This isn’t a class, after all. More like a Romper Room for writing. (That woman never said my damn name in the magic mirror.)
